Yeah, but I don't see them charging an arm and a leg for a download of one of my favorite old nintendo games. Honestly, I can stand paying a buck or two so as to have my favorite old games back.

So it really is good things.

For years now I have been meaning to take on of my older computers and loading MS-DOS and old Win3.1 on it. Why? To play older games....just never got around to it...boy I can be lazy!

You don't know how to take care of a console. Don't be STUPID make sure the area around the console is tidy and don't do anything questionable like turning the console off while the disc tray is out or don't leave it on all day.

My ps2 hasn't die on me over 3 year since i brought it. But my xbox, recently when i play some game, it freeze on me from time to time.

I've had my ps2 for 2 years with no problems. I had my Xbox since its launch and only recently did it need replacement since the dvd drive crapped out

I was annoyed when PS2s chew up a DVDs with their [email protected] drives. Having a hard drive kinda makes sense if you can just save all your games on it. Buying sh|tty memory cards for the PS2 was also annoying.

The X360 is having reported fan issues with overheating.. A number of them actually. Hopfully it'll be fixed by launch.

Goddamn, I remember when one game (which had 1.5meg of memory usage) chewed up 150kb of the memory until I found out about it! SO ANNOYING!! >.<

bwahahahahahaha. you know that Microsoft are going to release Halo 3 at the same time as the PS3. that is weird. i find it hard to believe that a single game could combat a console.

if any can do it. Halo can do it.

I've had my PS2 freeze like 2 times in its lifetime (both time were GTA:SA). my XBox has never, ever frozen. in the same amount of time.

Yeah well the only problem I have with the DS is one of the pixels turn red for no reason, but the rest of the system is stable, and Nintendogs is so damn addictive lol

Liar, Nintendo DS have units with dead pixels or plain non-working systems. And Charcoal Ann, Microsoft is "planning" to release Halo 3 when PS3 is release, it not offical yet and words from Microsoft, they want to make the game perfect and not rush it out to stop PS3. Which i think is load of crap so Microsoft will speed up and get this game done and release it on PS3 launch day with those exploits and bugs!

call me crazy...but i think that with all the cometition between sony and microsoft, nintendo is gonna go out of business, it seems that they come out with a new game boy every 2 months or so. I think that they are getting desperate and tweaking the gameboy a little bit and selling it for way more.

Nintendo is making so much off of sales from things like the DS (yes... in Japan the DS sells the most units of any gaming device) and even still the gameboy advance to continue. No need to worry, with Nintendo's success it's hard to see them going out of the console business anytime soon (and they will probably never be out of the game making business).

yeah looking from the sell chart in Japan. Top selling games are from Nintendo DS and that the DS is selling well in Japan. (I'm not too sure about US). I don't think Nintendo can't stop creating new console. Think about it, where would their franchise go to if they don't have any next gen console coming out. Where would Zelda, Mario, Animal Crossing, and other titles go?

I don't call a touchscreen and far better graphics a minor tweak. The only minor tweak was the GBA to the SP, and even that took quite a while. Calling the DS a minor tweak is like calling the PS2 a minor tweak from the original PlayStation.
